We're excited to announce that our affordable central Auckland motel is now under new management! With clean, quiet and recently renovated motel units, extended office hours and bilingual staff (English and Korean), we look forward to welcoming you to Rockfield Motel!
Rockfield Motel is located in the heart of Penrose, only a few minutes walk from Mt Smart Stadium, local food stores and restaurants. A short 20 minute drive from Auckland Airport, our motel is ideal for couples and individuals requiring accommodation close to the CBD, yet without the hustle and bustle. Nearby you will find popular event venues, including Ellerslie Racecourse, Auckland Showgrounds and Cornwall Park. Or venture into the CBD to head up the Sky Tower, visit Auckland Zoo or stroll along the Auckland waterfront and explore the local bars, clubs and activities that can be found there.

With 10 quiet garden view units, free off street parking, a self service laundry and Sky TV, guests staying at our central Auckland motel enjoy relaxing in their rooms or in the garden during their stay. Our reception is open Monday to Sunday 9am to 6pm, and late check ins can be easily arranged. Daily housekeeping is available, and if there is anyway we can assist you during your stay, we would love to help. From arranging transport, through to local restaurant recommendations, providing directions and ideas on attractions to visit, just ask!
